Rosetta was somewhat unattractive in her first year. She wore big glasses and her hair was always messed up, even though she wore braids. She wasn't that known until she came back to Astrea Hill in her third year.
She's very talented with drawing (art, painting, sculpting etc.) She has a good singing voice, though, she can't sing in a high soprano. She sucks at cooking and athletics.

Rosetta is a member of the prestigious Art Club. Despite her other talents; she prefers to pick up a pencil and sketch whatever is in front of her. During school she might seem like a very serious person. She always focuses on her school work and she studies when she has the time to do it. Rosetta might seem strict with her studies but honestly, she just works hard to get straight A's. Rosetta is seen as a strong, graceful, intelligent woman by the underclassman; many look up to her for guidance and advice but most of the upperclassmen just see her as a regular student. The girl is somewhat mysterious as well, she's usually seen sightseeing the scenery or taking a walk into the buildings, thinking or dreaming of whatever pops in her mind.

When she is bullied, or confronted by other students she merely flashes a confident, cunning smile and speaks whats on her mind. Rosetta has a slick tongue; she can make good comebacks as well as make up impressive insulting phrases. She is simply not afraid to speak her heart out even if her words result in a fearsome consequence. Either way, she'll stand her ground and never give up.


History:



Rosetta is the child of a successful Italian Fashion Designer named Lucinda De Luca. The small family only had each other because Rosetta's father left and abandoned her mother while she was pregnant. The girl grew up with a strong motherly figure and she never needed a father to satisfy her needs. Rosetta only needed her mother and Her mother only needed her. The two were inseparable until, Rosetta's mother became a hit wonder in the fashion industry. The woman was known for her unique designs and her elegant gowns. Her name was written in every fashion magazine and her dresses appeared in every fashion show. Rosetta's mother became greedy with her new found glory and she casted aside her own daughter for her work. Rosetta didn't mind though. She loved to see her mother be happy, she loved to see her be successful and live a wonderful, bountiful life. Though, despite her selflessness, Rosetta became lonely in her own little world.
The girl entered elementary school in Italy and she gained a few acquaintances that could sustain her loneliness. During the fake years of elementary school, Rosetta became fond of the Arts. She loved to draw, dance and play the piano. The girl used her interests to fill up the void in her heart.

Years passed and the girl was already in her middle school years. However, she had to move to Japan due to her mother's business. The girl had to learn Japanese and English in order to understand her new environment but, it wasn't difficult for her to learn a new language. Rosetta adapted to Japanese culture very quickly than her mother did. Since they were in a new country, Rosetta's mother spend more time at home than her actual "office". She wasn't used to the culture so the only safe place was her own home. It was nice for Rosetta to finally see her mother come home after so many years of living a lonely childhood. The two bonded again but that bond was broken after her mother found a new boyfriend. Yet again, the girl was alone. Rosetta instantly became sick of the her mother's new boyfriend. He was cunning, cruel and ambitious. It was obvious that he was using her mother but, her dumbfounded mother did not see the cruelty in his heart.

So, Rosetta decided to leave the house and attend a boarding school. It was decided that she would be studying in St. Miators (Astrea Hill). Her mother accepted her choice and paid for her tuition as well as the rest of the expenses that came later.

During her first year of living in the dorms. She fell in love with school. It was perfect for her, there was barely anything wrong with it. Rosetta felt free for once. She felt as if she could make her own choices. Her time at the school was paradise until she fell in love with an upperclassman. Her name was Rika Himemiya. She was a 4th year at the school and Rosetta was assigned to be her cleaning maid. Their friendship grew as they learned more about each other. The two had many similarities; Both of their parent's left them, Similar talents, similar interests etc. Rosetta fell in love with Rika. Rika understood her and she was there for her when Rosetta needed her the most but, Rika was in love with another upperclassman; who was running for etoile. Rosetta's love for Rika was unrequited but she always cheered for Rika to do her best. Later on, Rika became ill mannered because of her unrequited love. It was as if her personality changed. Rosetta tried to comfort her but Rika spat at her; insulting and defaming Rosetta. Rika confessed that she knew Rosetta's feelings towards her and spited them in front of her. Rosetta was rejected and she was left with nothing but a dark void in her heart.

Rosetta transferred out the next year and moved back to Italy to work on her studies. As time passed by the girl became stronger. She was no longer afraid to speak her mind or to stand up for herself. It was around that time that she spoke her heart out to her mother (and her mother's boyfriend). She confessed how lonely she felt and how emotionally abused she was. She even insulted them with cruel words. Rosetta left a scar on her mother's heart and she managed to defame her mother's boyfriend as well. Later on, Her mother's boyfriend was caught cheating on her. Lucinda immediately dumped him and decided to fix her relationship with her daughter. But before they could even heal their voids and their wounds, Rosetta left Italy and went back to Astrea Hill. Even though little was done with their relationship; they both apologized and promised to reconcile later but, Rosetta needed to fix things at St. Miator, She had to fix the broken relationship she had with Rika.

When Rosetta came back to school in her 3rd year, everyone was surprised of her new beauty. It was obvious that the girl had grown into a fine young beautiful woman. Rika was shocked by the new change, she never expected Rosetta to be so independent. Rosetta confronted Rika and confessed her old feelings that she once felt for her but, she also confessed that she has moved on. The girls reconciled once more but Rika began to fall in love with her. It was ironic how their roles changed but the hurt that Rosetta felt always stayed in her heart. At the end of Rosetta's third year, Rika confessed how she regretted her rejection towards Rosetta. She confessed that if she could turn back time she would have accepted Rosetta's love. Rosetta was speechless but she knew it was too late. The two went their separate ways: Rika graduated and Rosetta was moving on to her fourth year of school. Now she is getting ready for the new school year, hoping to meet new people and to have a happy fun school life.
